PROFLEX SW M42 — Special geometry for cutting profiles with internal stress
Thermal influences or plastic deformations can cause internal stresses in the material in the blanks, especially in the profiles. If these stresses are released during cutting, the conventional band saw blade often gets stuck in the cutting channel and it is very difficult to release it and continue working with the material.
PROFLEX SW M42 is the result of innovative development work by WIKUS. The extra wide special tooth setting means that profiles and beams with residual stresses can be easily separated. This bimetal band saw blade has impressive performance, especially in steel structures, and reliability for industrial applications.
In addition to the special SW setting, it also features a robust tooth geometry that is adapted to materials with residual stress. It is also possible to choose a version PROFLEX PREMIUM SW M42 with coating for longer life and higher performance.
