PROFLEX PREMIUM SW M42 — Coated band saw blade for profiles with internal stress
Thermal influences or plastic deformations can cause internal stresses in the material in the blanks, especially in the profiles. If these stresses are released during cutting, the conventional band saw blade often gets stuck in the cutting channel and it is very difficult to release it and continue working with the material.
The extra wide special SW tooth setting means that profiles and beams with residual stress can be easily separated. This bimetal band saw blade has impressive performance, especially in steel structures, and reliability for industrial applications. In addition, the blade features a robust tooth geometry that is adapted to materials with residual stress.
The special feature of this blade compared to the PROFLEX SW M42 type is the hard material coating. The premium hard coating of the teeth and back of the band saw blade allows a significant extension of the service life. Less frequent tool changes make cutting more cost-effective.
