SKALAR X3000 — Powerful band saw blade for materials with high tensile strength

The modified cutting material X3000 enables precise cutting of highly resistant materials and special alloys. This cutting material, available exclusively from WIKUS, combines even higher tooth tip hardness and wear resistance with superior toughness compared to M42 cutting material.

In combination with a tempered alloy steel backing material, the SKALAR X3000 bimetal band saw blade achieves excellent long-term performance.

Special surface treatment for extra smooth rounding of the tooth gap to prevent blade cracking.
Variable tooth pitch with 5 tooth interval for optimum chip separation and reduced stress on the cutting edge with very quiet and smooth running.
Body made of high alloy tempered steel with high flexibility. Special surface treatment ensures less friction in the guides.
Highly positive tooth rake angle with ground geometry facilitates cutting into the material and better chip formation. Unsurpassed cutting performance.
The ground tooth geometry delivers high cutting edge accuracy and excellent cutting behaviour. It offers a reliable blade for a wide range of materials.
